La Lega del Chianti Classico<\/h2>\n\t<\/div>

Per la sua importanza strategica divenne nel 1384 capoluogo della storica Lega del Chianti un'organizzazione militare che aveva il compito di amministrare il territorio e di difendere i suoi confini meridionali dagli attacchi nemici sotto l'emblema del Gallo Nero e con la suddivisione nei Terzieri.<\/dd>\n\t

Dato che negli anni che seguirono non ci fu pi\u00f9 la necessit\u00e0 di proteggere i confini della regione del Chianti, la lega continu\u00f2 la sua attivit\u00e0 sul piano civile e su quanto concerneva la coltivazione della terra. Naturalmente la gestione delle vigne rappresentava uno dei suoi principali interessi: furono dunque stilate le regole generali per la corretta produzione vinicola. PODERE TERRENO<\/p>\n\t\t

The League of Chianti Classico<\/h2>\n\t<\/div> [vc_column_text]Due to its strategic importance it became in 1384 the capital of the historic League of Chianti<\/strong> a military organization that had the task of administering the territory and defending its southern borders from enemy attacks under the emblem of the Black Rooster<\/strong> and with the subdivision into Terzieri.<\/p>\n

Since in the following years there was no longer a need to protect the borders of the Chianti region, the league continued its activities on the civil level and on matters concerning the cultivation of the land. The vineyard management was one of its main interests: general rules for proper wine production<\/strong> were drawn up. Radda in Chianti<\/h1>\n\t<\/div> [vc_column_text]\n

In this context lies Podere Terreno<\/strong>, in the northern side of Radda in Chianti, where our vineyards are located in a strip of land among the ridges, the Pesa stream and the wood. The landscape derives from sharecropping and in particular the Volpaia ridge<\/strong> is one of the few existing examples that remained unchanged since the sharecropping period, maintaining the classic farm layout.
